SUMMARY
Responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, and maintaining various measuring instruments and equipment within a laboratory setting to ensure their accuracy and compliance with established standards, performing calibrations according to documented procedures, troubleshooting malfunctions, and documenting all calibration results and maintenance activities in detailed reports.
Shift: First shift:
6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Plan sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.
-Set up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.
-Disassemble instruments and equipment and inspect components for defects.
-Reassembling and calibrate instruments and equipment.
-Perform internal calibration.
-Ensure that measurement devices provide accurate and reliable measurements.
-Send out gages and manage external calibration.
-Store gages according to established procedures.
-Maintain the calibration system, documents and software.
-Carry out work tasks according to established ISO procedures, Safety procedures, OSHA standards and other agency regulations.
