Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in a temporary full-time position. This role involves managing the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and variance analysis, while ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have experience with monthly and year-end closings, payroll tax compliance, year-end tax filings (such as 1099s), and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) are essential for financial analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Collaboration with internal teams to support financial audits and maintain organized financial records is also key. Qualifications:
- Approximately 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in full charge AR and AP
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience in a law firm setting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
