Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of all desktop equipment and systems.
Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software-related issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, software, and peripheral devices
- Maintain and manage IT infrastructure including LAN, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and Windows Server
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a secure and efficient computing environment
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of Linux-based systems
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and escalate issues as needed
- Document technical processes and procedures for reference purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support with a focus on Windows desktop environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop applications
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as LAN, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and Windows Server
- Experience working with Linux systems is a plus
