Job Summary:

As the FOH manager, you’ll lead all FOH team members and coordinate with the kitchen to create quality experiences all guests. Your willingness to be available and listen to team members is key to motivating everyone to work together successfully. A love of service and hospitality is a must. When we are busy, you’ll be able to balance supporting the team gracefully working through the situations that arise during service including those directly with guests.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manager/supervisor of all FOH team. Reports to owners.
- Balances labor management with hospitality demands and labor cost.
- Ensures menus are accurate and ready for service. Works with kitchen management to ensure staff is informed of and able to speak accurately and confidently about our food, beverage and our business
· Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining when necessary
- Works with other management to develop strategies to increase sales and implements strategies with FOH team
- Prepares, organizes and executes on-site and off-site events
- Overall responsible person for cleanliness and organization of FOH and storage areas, as well as basic maintenance
- Manages FOH/bar inventory and vendors to balance maximizing profit and ensuring we have the quality of items we need
- Hospitality responsibilities:
- Leads services and ensures systems are in place so that services are executed to the same standards when not present
- Works with other managers to develop hospitality initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts
- Drives staff engagement with the guest and positive guest experiences during times of both slow and busy service
Requirements:
· ABC Server permit
· Driver’s license
· Availability to work any events that are especially large or important
· Knowledge of POS system
Schedule & Compensation
This is a salaried, exempt position with the expectation of working at least 40 hours per week including weekends as the business demands. Starting salary is depending upon experience. Options for annual bonus are available. We offer health, dental and vision insurance (eligible after 60 days of employment on the first of the following month).
