About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate guidance counselor to support the academic and personal growth of our high school students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement guidance programs to promote student achievement and well-being
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, parents, and teachers
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement student success plans
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Pursuing or possessing a Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
- Valid teaching certification and state-specific certification for school counseling
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
