At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking a dedicated couple to fill the role of Family Guidance Specialists. As part of our team, you will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include managing daily responsibilities, fostering educational growth, and guiding 8-12 students living in your care.
The ideal candidate should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You will also be required to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, as well as limitations on pets.
In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. A unique feature of this role is the opportunity to work alongside a supportive community and enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school, and you will also receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
