What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Shop Production position at Herrman Lumber Company?
The Door Shop employee will be responsible for daily production activities in the shop including building units and pulling orders. Candidates should have knowledge of measurement and previous experience with power tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build door units.
- Pull required doors to fill orders.
- Maintain door equipment and follow all safety requirements.
- Assist customers with technical support.
- Perform daily cleanup of shop.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Exposed to all climate conditions.
