Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Oversee property maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing agreements, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property improvements and services.
- Ensure compliance with local housing regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with tenants and vendors.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks, including lease documentation and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and maintenance protocols is essential.
- Experience with LIHTC or Section 8 programs is required.
