At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day across Dollywood Resorts which includes over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our plan is to grow our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood and to add other resorts to our overall company resort portfolio.

The purpose of the Laundry Attendant Lead is to be responsible for assisting the Laundry Manager in leading and coordinating the cleaning and delivery / pickup process of hotel linens to ensure guests and hosts experience a clean hotel. All in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of The Dollywood Company.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Keep Laundry Attendants and Drivers focused on work at hand and maintain productivity in the absence of the Laundry Manager.
- Perform opening and or closing procedures, arm / disarm alarm system lock / unlock doors.
- Safely operate commercial washers, dryers and folding machines.
- Load and unload washing machines and dryers.
- Operate the folders and other laundry equipment in accordance with the product specifications.
- Clean up machines and surrounding areas as necessary per shift.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Operate laundering equipment to ensure safe and thorough cleaning and pressing, keeping work area clean and safe.
- Help ensure laundry operations run smoothly by alerting the manager when equipment stops working properly.
- Sort out all linen that needs to be done.
- Push and pull linen carts that are full of linen.
- Participate in monthly linen inventory.
- Must be able to function in a team atmosphere.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
