Silver Dollar City - Park Wardrobe Front Desk, (Full-Time Seasonal 2025)

This is a Full Time Seasonal Position. Starts 3/13/2025 and ends 1/4/2026

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Provide exceptional customer service by working the front desk and attending to the needs of hosts in a professional manner.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Issue costumes to hosts in a timely manner.
• Clean and press costumes using washers and dryers, electric iron and or steamer.
• Organize and put away costumes after they are returned and cleaned.
• Assist with inventory management to include stocking shelves and racks with fabric (rolls and bolts), clothing and supplies as they come in.
• Enter data into excel and internal inventory system to accurately track and maintain costume and inventory records.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays – may work alone and with a team.  
• Interact with fellow hosts, leadership, vendors and suppliers while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Keep work area clean and maintain cleanliness of the shop.
• Ensure compliance with all authorized operator requirements and safety procedures specific to the job assignment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate in a prompt, efficient manner while maintaining care and concern for hosts.
• Must have computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to self-supervise and maintain confidentiality.
• Time management skills including a sense of urgency.
• Ability to escalate areas of concern to the appropriate member of leadership for resolution.
• Must have proven organizational skills and flexibility.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Must have a willingness and ability to learn, change and grow.
• Must have a willingness to learn to how to operate sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing machinery as needed.
• Must have a willingness to learn how to mend/repair, alter and produce costumes.
• Must have a proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
• Must have a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to always maintain a climate of professionalism.
