At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day at Dollywood Resorts, which include over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood.

We are seeking a Spa Coordinator for Dollywood Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

We want to work alongside someone who acts as an extension of our mission, values, and culture. This individual is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. They also bring fun, authenticity, collaboration, creativity, and genuine hospitality to their life and work. We seek an individual who can bring the vision of the resorts to life. The right Spa Coordinator checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

The Spa Coordinator is responsible for providing 5-star service to our guests when they are visiting The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and attending to their needs.  The ideal candidate is an experienced customer service professional, in person or with phone capabilities, with a strong interest in the spa industry and able to multi-task in the daily operation of front and back of house in The Spa. Should have some computer skills for efficiencies with POS system, should be able to work with team effectively and in a manner fitting the Dollywood Company brand. The Spa Coordinator is the first and last person our guests encounter when planning and visiting the Spa, and is considered to be the first and last impression for all guests visiting or receiving treatments. 

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

 

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Spa Coordinators are responsible for opening and/or closing duties
  • Maintain effective and accurate bookings for spa service providers & guest
  • Perform duties at desk with Excellent Customer Services Skills, from arrivals to departure
  • Have sufficient knowledge of services & product to promote sales of services and retail
  • Ensure POS system/ register is in balance, must have cash/ card monetary handling skills
  • Assist service providers as needed with towels, room sanitation, housekeeping etc.
  • Must follow sanitation and safety protocols
  • Perform daily sanitation and housekeeping duties of retail area, restrooms and other public spaces

Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.

 

Education and Experience Required

  • Required educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must speak English language proficiently
  • Basic Arithmetic skills, cash handling or credit card transaction skills with accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills are a must
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Must have general housekeeping skills

  • Able to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors
  • Able to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver’s license and insurance
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job
