A Day in the Life:
The Properties & Concessions Accounting Manager will lead the Company’s North American properties and concessions and airport audit teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Payments and Concessions Responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of monthly rent, concession, CFC and payments
- Resolve payments issues
- Airport Audits Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of annual compliance audits
- Research audit inquiries and analyze issues
- General Responsibilities
- Directly supervise/coach staff and assist in their professional development.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and flux analyses to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting.
- Partner with Company’s finance team in management of expenses
We expect the starting salary to be around $107k; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Audit firm experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Four to six years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience with enterprise general ledger accounting systems (Oracle Cloud preferred)
- Prior experience with CoStar or similar lease software preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to process improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing priorities and needs of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external auditors
- Strong leadership experience, including excellent interpersonal skills
- A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
