Candidate should be self-motivated, hard-working, friendly, a good typist and professional. Position is part-time to start, with opportunity to develop into full-time work in the near future. Flexible hours. Pay will be $20-25/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organized case files and documentation in compliance with legal standards.
- Drafting of probate and real estate documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients and attorney.
- Perform administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of estate planning and probate is highly desirable but not required.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks within a law office environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self motivated.
- Notary Public Certified or willing to become certified.
