Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, tracking labor efficiency, and leading a team of skilled professionals. This role is crucial in driving productivity and operational excellence within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the manufacturing team to achieve production goals while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Accurately define project requirements.
- Creation and implementation of job schedules
- Management of day-to-day operations to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Communicate clearly and effectively among team members regarding project needs.
- Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from management.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules, workflows, and equipment utilization to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain management, to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members for continuous improvement.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing for timely material availability.
Skills

- Familiarity with production planning software or ERP systems is a plus. **Visual ERP system.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self starter.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management.
- Takes corrective action as necessary and in a timely manner, in accordance with company policy.
- Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Must work with minimal supervision and have excellent organization skills
- A relevant degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field.
- Project management qualification / certification is desirable
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS preferred
