About the Role
As a Program Manager, you will:
✅ Provide mission-centered leadership that aligns with HGA’s values, Gentle Teaching philosophy, and person-centered services.
✅ Support and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Home/Site Managers.
✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
✅ Oversee budget management and fiscal responsibility for home budgets and financial audits.
✅ Lead training, development, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
✅ Analyze trends and think strategically to adapt services to evolving legal, contractual, and funding requirements.
✅ Represent HGA at meetings, training sessions, and industry-related events.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or equivalent experience in human services, management, or related field).
Supervisory and direct care experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications and state/federal compliance knowledge.
Valid Michigan Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
