Assists in coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital�s overall performance improvement program; generates and interprets reports for PI initiatives and clinical programs; identifies performance trends; prioritizes and recommends improvements; monitors action plans in progress; provides ad hoc reports that focus on patient outcomes and hospital processes of care; works with the VPMA and Quality Director to implement the medical staff�s Professional Practice Evaluation Policy; maintains physician Quality files; administers links to national databases such as the CMS QualityNet and ensures transfer of information from the hospital�s third-party vendor to CMS and TJC; supports TJC readiness and other QM activities as assigned. Reports to the Director of Quality Management.Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required Education: Registered nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. BSN or MSN preferred. Minimum of three years in hospital setting. Performance Improvement and/or Quality Assurance experience preferred.
