Responsibilities:
In collaboration with Senior Leadership and the Vice-President Medical Affairs & Quality, develops vision and strategies for performance/process improvement designed to promote the delivery of safe, quality, evidence-based care and services. Supervises development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan, Medical Staff Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation Policy, Infection Prevention and Control, Medical Staff Services, and Risk Management. Integrates these functions into a single work unit designed to accomplish aforesaid vision and strategies. Coordinates the hospital�s continuous TJC/CMS survey readiness activities. Provides quality and risk management support to other entities of the Authority. Must be progressive and innovative. Reports to President/CEO and is classified as a management position.
Qualifications:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Education: Registered Nurse (B.S. required). MSN preferred. Two years of recent healthcare experience in performance improvement. Supervisory experience required.
