Assistant Controller
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Controller to support financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This role will assist in overseeing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting accurate financial information
Provide high-level analytics to and complete projects for senior management as needed
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Address accounting activities including general ledger preparation, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities, all under tight deadlines
Demonstrate creativity, intelligence, and discretion in the management of department functions

Requirements:
4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience with ERP systems, Workday is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Important to Know
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week. However, for the first 90 days (the probationary period), the schedule will be Monday through Friday in the office at our corporate location in Dripping Springs.
