Description
Residential Program Manager is to oversee our residential services supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality waiver services, compliance with state regulations, and effective supervision of staff. The Residential Program Manager serves as a Developmental Disability Professional (DDP), ensuring participants receive the individualized care they need to live enriched and independent lives.
Requirements
· Oversee weekend operations at five group homes to ensure staff are following all rules and procedures.
· Supervise and support staff to make sure residents receive the care and services outlined in their individual plans.
· Train and guide Direct Support Professionals, especially on how to use the electronic documentation.
· Check that health and safety practices are being followed, including medication, nutrition, and emergency plans to include working with the Nursing Team.
· Take part in meetings about resident care and help make sure their personal goals are achieved.
· Keep open communication with residents, families, staff, medical providers, and agencies.
· Review paperwork and records to ensure they’re accurate and complete, and make sure any mistakes are corrected quickly.
· Help manage household budgets and make sure necessary supplies are purchased responsibly.
· Drive residents to appointments if needed and make sure staff are available to cover transportation.
· Keep up with required reports and documentation like incident logs and daily shift reports.
· Promote the use of calming and respectful behavior support techniques and actively contribute to the leadership team.
