Program Manager

Description

Essential Functions:

• Formulate, organize and coordinate multiple projects at a time.
• Responsible for creating and managing suitable strategies and objectives for each project.
• Develop and Control deadlines, budgets and activities.
• Responsible to coordinate and manage any product or process deviation.
• Responsible to coordinate engineering changes due to Customer requirements.
• Communication between local members to manage the Engineering systems and functions without language barriers.
• Provide daily status input to the Staff.
• Lead tasks for optimization and improvement in designated area.
• Clearly communicate requirements and expectations with all staff members. Ensure all the needed resources are available in order to meet customer product demand and requirements.
• Be the point of contact between Engineering corporate team and local members for product successfully manufacturing.
• Resolve project’s higher scope issues.

Secondary Functions:

• Actively participation in all customer meetings.
• Prepares reports as necessary; mainly for Director’s level.
• Daily support to the manufacturing processes and members.
• Ensure data availability
• Performs other duties as necessary

Qualifications

Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:

• 4-year college degree in Business, Management or Manufacturing required
• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in an automotive tier 1/2 manufacturing environment with focus on Project Management areas.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Engineering Drawings.
• Foreign language skills, Fluent English mandatory
• Strong knowledge of computer software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) necessary.
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing process for window regulators, cable assemblies, door modules, etc. preferred.
• Knowledge of PLEX System is a Plus.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Factory environment with noise from manufacturing environment
• Possible exposure to chemicals, moving equipment, parts, and electrical shock
• Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects -- up to 50 pounds.
• International and Domestic Travel more than 25% of the time
