Service Superintendent, Commercial Roofing

This is a traveling Commercial Roofing Service Superintendent through the Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Kern and Kings Counties area!

Pay: 40-45/hr

We are a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar company with more than 30 years of contracting experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. Additionally, we now offer commercial re-roofing, TI, repairs, and maintenance services for C&I customers throughout California.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Superintendentwith proven experience in various commercial roofing repairs and services. This position is field based and includes overnight travel and reports to the Commercial Roofing Division Manager – Visalia.

Qualifications:

· 7-10 years of commercial roofing, with extensive knowledge of low slope and steep slope roof systems.

· Thorough understanding of leaks and temporary repairs for various commercial roof systems.

· Ability to identify leaks and use different methods for short and long-term repairs.

· Thorough knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations.

· Bilingual – English/Spanish highly desirable.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Skilled in (i.e., Microsoft Office, Apple/Android Phones & Tablets, etc.).

· Capacity to work well under pressure, deadlines, and weather-related emergencies.

· Ability to handle a variety of duties with minimal supervision.

· Strong focus on quality and attention to detail necessary.

· Organized and able to manage numerous open work orders.

· Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test and physical

Primary Position Responsibilities:

· Perform scheduled and emergency roof repair and maintenance services.

· Lead, manage and train service technicians to perform all work to meet industry standards.

· Strong focus on quality installations and exceptional attention to detail.

· Daily communication with supervisors, clients, and co-workers.

· Daily use of company software to track, report and document services.

· Represent the company with clients, GC's, architects, and consultants.

· Provide guidance and labor support to production crews as needed.

· Manage ALL jobs to ensure jobsite safety and minimize exposure to weather related storms.

· Inspect and identify other issues on roof while performing work and discuss with management.

· Keep various materials stocked on truck accordingly with inventory requirements to perform ongoing work.

· Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

· Comply with company safety standards and practices to promote a safe and clean work environment

· Coordinate inspections as needed

· Additional duties as assigned

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
