Salary : $16 - 20 DOE
Maserati / Alfa Romero is looking for a Certified Technician for our Austin, TX location. Technicians with Chrysler / Dodge experience are encouraged to apply as Alfa Romeo vehicles are equipped with Mopar parts and have similar systems and repair processes.
Job Summary :
A Certified Technician, fixes, inspects, and maintains Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles. Main duties include using tools to identify and diagnose potential issues with a customers vehicle, explain problems with the vehicle to the customer and perform maintenance on the vehicles to fix or prevent them from future breakdowns or issues.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Repair brake and steering systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
- Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
- Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
