Purpose of the position
Project delivery of alternate materials and contract manufacturing solutions
To support the development of robust sustainable supplier / manufacturing development ensuring solutions meet the requirements of TMFL operations globally
Main tasks and responsibilities
Support the product transfer of the Truck Mounted Forklift to the United States manufacturing site with supply chain projects including governance, planning / preparing, running and reporting to internal Steering meetings
Responsible for liaising directly with cross functional stakeholders - R&D, Operations, Quality, Sourcing and Supplier development functions to successfully deliver S.C. and supplier improvement projects
Lead the introduction of alternate material providers within the supported divisions to secure cross-site global capacity assurance within the supply base
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure programme goals are achieved
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to develop plans with a medium to long term forward view
What you’ll need to succeed
Education :
Commercial or Technical background, Bachelor degree (APICS, CPIM / IIPMM)
Lean / Six Sigma experience would be advantageous
Working experience :
At least 10 years of relevant business / product experience
Expert in Supply Chain Management
Excellent communication skills, strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
Proven Change Management capabilities
Advanced project management skills
Skills and competencies :
Excellent time management skills – a highly organized individual capable of prioritizing their own workload
