About Us: We are a growing construction business seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. This is a dynamic role where you'll be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing financial tasks, and helping us market our services to clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Payroll: Manage payroll, process invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting using QuickBooks.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and billing.
- Job Tracking: Monitor and track the progress of active construction projects, ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Social Media & Marketing: Use social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to advertise and market our services, increasing visibility and customer engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks (essential)
- Strong accounting skills with a focus on payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Familiarity with social media platforms for business marketing (Facebook, Instagram)
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not required
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of construction-specific accounting practices and job costing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
