Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is essential for maintaining efficient office processes and supporting our team in achieving organizational goals.

Duties

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of services and supplies.
  • Oversee schedule management, coordinating appointments and meetings for team members.
  • Handle human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
  • Organize and maintain files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and easily accessible.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and basic accounting tasks.
  • Coordinate calendar management for executives and staff, optimizing schedules to enhance productivity.
  • Implement office management best practices to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Provide clerical support as needed, including data entry, correspondence, and report generation.
  • Foster a positive office environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Experience
The successful candidate will have prior experience in an office management role or similar position. Key qualifications include:

  • Proven skills in vendor management and schedule management.
  • Familiarity with human resources processes.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other office software applications.
  • Excellent clerical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Lafayette, LA 70502 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Lafayette, LA 70502: Relocate before starting work (Required)
