SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Instructional Designer provides instructional and program design expertise for the development and support of learning content delivered in various modalities. Works closely in a collaborative environment to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. Instrumental in assessing, implementing, and integrating instructional design concepts and learning technologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works collaboratively with company leaders to set instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
- Visualizes, plans, and creates instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
- Analyzes and applies trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
- Determines the best training modalities and develop learning experiences to address training needs.
- Conducts instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts to determine the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve company strategic objectives.
- Applies tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods.
- Provides exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Creates supporting material / media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
- Decides on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments.
- Maintains project documentation and course folders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and / or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
- Measurable Outcomes : Skilled implementation of technology software and learning platforms to create meaningful learning experiences relative to associate learning and development.
- Travels up to 10% of the time.
