Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame
  • 5 years of experience in electrical power systems, substation design, transmission/distribution, or related fields
  • Experience with SCADA, protective relaying, and automation systems highly desirable

Preferred:

  • Experience managing engineering and field crews in an electrical utility or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of high-voltage transmission, distribution planning, and construction practices
  • Understanding of renewable energy integration and grid modernization strategies
