Hickory Falls Health and Rehab is seeking a part time Maintenance Assistant to join our team!!!
Summary
Performs those activities related to maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds as well as perform some housekeeping duties.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Paints and performs structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
- Follows safety regulations, i.e. Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, hazardous Communication, etc.
- Assists Maintenance Supervisor in solving work problems.
- Confers with departmental supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Keep records of work performed through the work order system.
- Rotates taking Call with others in the department.
- Performs and/or assists with duties concerning electrical, plumbing, painting, resurfacing, remodeling, carpentry, mechanics, heating, cooling and water systems.
- Performs duties related to maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveway, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
