What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Specialist position at Hickory Recovery?
Primary Purpose and Function:
The Recruiting Specialist plays a crucial role in the recruitment process. They work closely hiring managers throughout the company to define hiring needs, set goals, and execute the recruitment plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience working with the hiring process and employee relations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet recruitment targets
- Computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint required
- Ability to travel to out of state facilities on regular basis
- Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with candidates
- Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to policies, provide customer service, and exercise time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with facility Administrative Assistants to ensure posting accuracy
- Routine, weekly staffing meetings
- Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals.
- Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process
- Develop and utilize skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates
- Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
- Maintain job posting templates
- Works closely with HR team to ensure postings, wage scale, and job descriptions are accurate
- Provide weekly staffing updates to HR Director and Recruiting Manager
- Ensure Admins and Hiring managers are trained and knowledgeable of the recruiting process and use of the electronic system
- Manage internship relationships and status for nursing and clinical departments
- Participate in the OPPI committee and monthly meetings
- Recognize staff through Employee of the Month recognition program
- Engage staff companywide with exciting and informative monthly newsletters
- Participate in HR Project teams to maintain highest quality of service to the facilities
Pay Band: Full Time- $38,000-$44,000
This position will require in and out of state travel 50% of the time. Other 50% will be in office located in Indianapolis, IN.
