Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities
- Send out monthly statements
- Send copies of invoices as requested
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
- Collect and post payments from charge customers and arrange payment plans
- Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
- Process applications for new customers applying for credit and verify references
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheet and updating information as needed
Requirements
- Must have minimum 3 years' experience in AR
- Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure records and reports are accurate
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong project management skills. Able to work multiple projects simultaneously and flexible enough to handle lots of information at once
- Accounting degree (preferred, not required)
- Experience in automotive dealership (preferred, not required)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
