As our Production Supervisor, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Facilitating continuous improvement activities.
- Managing the day-to-day operations in the production area.
- Ensuring communication to staff of products, policies and procedures as necessary.
- Promoting the growth of staff development, including training and performance management.
- Displaying leadership and guidance to the production team, promoting and implementing systems and initiatives.
- Ensuring purchase of essential departmental supplies within departmental budget.
- Ensuring all production documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensuring sufficient staffing levels to maintain optimum levels of output.
- Monitoring performance to metrics; managing resources and priorities to achieve targets.
- Assisting in the development and transfer of new processes.
- Adhering to, and enforcing security, quality and environmental health and safety policies, procedures and controls.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of manufacturing experience as a supervisor, including some lead person experience. Manufacturing knowledge of access control devices is highly desired.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating a UV printing press using wet or waterless offset.
- Experience with the following is also strongly recommended:
- Printing on plastic substrates such as PET, PVC and PC
- Split fountain printing
