Job Description: Hidden Gem is looking for a Security presence for the bar. An ideal hire for this role is comfortable with dealing with conflict and familiar with techniques that decrease/mitigate tense situations. Security must be aware of the signs that may lead to safety concerns by monitoring the premises for situations that put our team and our guests at risk. This role will be responsible for engaging de-escalation tactics to ensure everyone within the space stays safe. This will include removing patrons from the bar when necessary.

A typical night on the job will look like…

• Rotating between the door (inside and outside), upstairs, and the dance floor to monitor safety and security
• Addressing patrons that are violating bar policies and warning them of the chance of removal from the bar if the behavior continues
• Serving as “back up” for any escalated conversation that bar staff may have
• Removing patrons from the bar when required

Compensation and Hours

• Part Time Hourly $17/hr
• Approximately 5-10 hours/week
• Must be available nights and weekends
• 40% discount off at Golden Gems retail stores
