What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Facilities position at Hidden River Eating Disorder Treatment?
Healing at Hidden River is a behavioral health organization located in Chester Township, New Jersey treating young women and girls struggling with an eating disorder. We are seeking a service-oriented individual who will join the team as the Director of Facilities.
Qualifications
- Five years of relevant healthcare experience with a minimum of 2 years in management, preferred
- Certification as Facilities Engineer, or Building Maintenance Operator, preferred
- Basic maintenance and construction skills
- Working knowledge of healthcare facilities, State licensing, construction, and personnel management.
- Excellent project management, vendor management, record maintenance, interdepartmental communications & coordination, interpersonal communication and time management skills required.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook) and budgeting programs.
- Pre-employment background check, drug screen clearances and clean driving record, required.
Responsibilities
- Development and management of the care environment including scheduled buildings and non-scheduled maintenance,
- Vendor coordination
- Grounds keeping
- Manage housekeeping
- NJ-State Licensing & The Joint Commission requirements,
- Budget adherence and staff safety training.
- Oversee the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, public wells, septic tanks and waste management
- Maintain and update emergency procedures manual, Life Safety Program, Health and Safety, security operations, shipping/receiving, mail distribution, and purchasing
- General maintenance, upkeep, and testing of all essential utilities.
- Take a hands-on role and personal approach in accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings
- Function as a first responder in emergency situations
- Maintain company policies regarding local, state, federal and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain companywide email accounts setup, log in processes, and account groups.
Healing at Hidden River provides a highly competitive salary base for the Director of Facilities beginning with an $80,000 starting salary. Salary may increase based upon greater experience than base level description as applicable.
