Bonnie and Clydes Restaurant Group is opening our flagship location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. We have two restaurant concepts built around one team. Bonnie & Clydes focuses on providing customers with quality fast casual food and coffee daily. At night, we open Hide & Seek, our speakeasy restaurant, where we provide customers with an immersive dining experience and craft cocktails.

The Role:

We’re looking for a full-time or part-time barista to work with out team. A great barista will be a people-oriented person who’s quick, diligent and organized. You’ll pay attention to detail and you’re able to follow instructions (this includes all health and safety rules in the kitchen). The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Prepare and serve menu items such as espressos, cappuccinos, specialty sodas, and associated food.
• Take orders digitally and process payments using our point-of-sale system (square).
• Help conduct opening and closing tasks to ensure efficient operations day-to-day
• Maintain a clean appearance of the shop which includes cleaning work areas, coffee machines, equipment, utensils and public areas.
• Track inventory & organize ingredients.
• Anticipate customer and or shop needs by maintaining a basic awareness of work environment
• Maintains a regular and punctual attendance
• Be able to answer the store phones & take orders.

Skills:

• Proven experience as barista.
• A “people” person with above average emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in food service establishment
• A team player with good communication skills and a even temper
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure

Experience: Barista Experience: 1 year (Required)

Restaurant or Coffee Shop Experience: 1 year (Required)

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract

Language: English (Proficient Working Use)

License: Food Handler Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $15.00 – $22.50
