What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor/Lifeguard position at Hideaway Day Camp?
Hideaway Day Camp is looking for a Swim Instructor to work 8 weeks this summer, M-F, June 16th to August 8th. Closed on July 4th. Hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Instructors should be certified teachers or mature college students with a knowledge of swimming. Criminal Records check, Child Abuse Clearances required, and Life Guarding Certificate required.
Swim Instructors will provide swim lessons to campers daily, introducing various strokes, games, etc. Each lesson is 40 minutes. Camper groups are no more than 15 campers.
Other camp activities include: swimming, canoeing and fishing, drama, arts and crafts, sports, high and low ropes course, rock climbing, gaga and many others. Our facility is situated on 72 beautiful acres near Valley Forge, on the Skippack Creek....Beautiful!!!
