What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard/Swim Instructor position at Sesame/Rockwood Day Camps?
Sesame/Rockwood Camps is looking for skilled, caring, enthusiastic Lifeguards/Swim Instructors. Lifeguards are responsible for the overall safety of the campers in our pools. You will be guarding as well as instructing. We utilize the American Red Cross Program to assess our campers swimming abilities . The Aquatics Program is both instructional and recreational for the campers ages 3-14 years of age. We have 5 pools that range in size and depth to accommodate the age range of our campers. Training is provided.
The camp season is Monday, June 23rd - Friday, August 15th, 2025. The camp day starts with sign-in at 8:25am and ends at 4:00pm. Snacks and lunch are provided as well as staff shirts. Transportation is provided if needed. We are closed Friday, July 5, 2025.
