HiFyve is hiring a Plant Manager in the food and beverage industry in Western MN
Salary: $150k-$200k, 40% bonus full relo package
Location: Western MN
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the cheese and whey production plant.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage a team of production workers, supervisors, and other staff.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain inventory levels.
- Implement and monitor production schedules to meet business targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the plants operational budget.
- Liaise with senior management to report on plant performance and issues.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of dairy production processes, particularly cheese and whey.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using production management software.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the food industry.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial plans effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
