Salary: $60K - $90K
Shift: MondayFriday, flexible 40-hour workweek with required onsite hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and services that support our operations. This role requires strong vendor coordination, order processing, and timely purchasing to meet production needs and budget goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source materials and services from qualified vendors based on project needs.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, review specifications, and confirm order details with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement records including POs, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Monitor inventory and forecast purchasing needs.
- Resolve issues related to delayed, incorrect, or non-conforming deliveries.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Track critical purchases and report updates to management.
- Analyze pricing trends and market shifts for strategic planning.
- Support the Senior Purchasing Agent on cost-saving and procurement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain principles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Manufacturing or heavy industry knowledge is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and attention to detail.
- Ability to sit, type, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- PPE must be worn at all times in plant and yard areas.
