Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for our Alpharetta, GA office.
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, sales producers, and other company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our commercial accounts.
Some of the essential tasks include:

Maintain Client Relationships and Build Repoire to learn of opportunities for additional products

Work with Underwriters on Renewal Positions

Request Renewal updates from Clients

Manage all Renewal Marketing including selection of carriers & manage carrier relationships

Prepare Broker of Record Letters

Manage submissions out to market for new and renewal business and follow through to receive quotes

Compare Quotes among carriers to determine best options for clients

Negotiate coverage pricing/ terms & conditions

Prepare Program Comparisons & Select Program Option for Client

Prepare Proposals/ Final Summary of Insurance as Bound

Request Coverage be Bound/ Manage any Subjectivities
-
Renew or Set up new Coverage in Agency Management System
-
Manage Automatic Renewals
-
Review Policies/ Endorsements for Accuracy
-
Address all Coverage Questions from Clients
-
Address all Billing questions from clients
-
Process Agency Bill transactions in Agency Management System
-
Prepare Finance Agreements for Clients
-
Manage all Accounts Receivables with Clients
-
Review Premium Audits for accuracy
-
Introduce clients to CSR 24 system

Review Certificate Requests/ Complete Compliance Statements

Requests Changes/ Process Endorsements Received

Rate online with Carrier websites as needed
Location:

Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of Commercial Property & Causality insurance experience required
Education:
- Undergraduate Degree in related field preferred
Licensure:
- Georgia Property & Causality (P&C) License required
