Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for our Huntsville, AL office.
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager in this office will assist the P&C Sales Producers in generating the marketing to pitch policies to current and potential clients, as well as implementing the client's policy and negotiating the rate terms and conditions.
Duties include but are not limited to Service and Support of our commercial clients and our commercial insurance producers. The candidate can expect to:
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager in this office will assist the P&C Sales Producers in generating the marketing to pitch policies to current and potential clients, as well as implementing the client's policy and negotiating the rate terms and conditions.
Duties include but are not limited to Service and Support of our commercial clients and our commercial insurance producers. The candidate can expect to:
- Prepare and present commercial insurance solutions
- Re-market existing insurance policies to improve our clients’ ability to manage risk
- Work with business and insurance professionals to renew commercial insurance policies
- Amend insurance policies to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Earn professional licenses and certifications
- Respond to client inquiries and change requests
- Other duties as assigned
- 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial insurance preferred
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
