Our client is premier global independent investment banking advisory firm. They are seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead projects within theirArtificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AI CoE). Initially focused on Advisory, this role will expand to Institutional Equities and beyond after 90 days. It combines structured project management with agile, investigative work—ideal for those who excel in complex environments and possess analytical rigor and creative problem-solving skills.

• Role Type: Contractor
• Duration: Initial one-year contract
• Location: New York City (hybrid schedule, 1–3 days/week), with full remote work considered for exceptional candidates
• Team: Program Management Office (PMO), IT Development & Integration Services

Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis:
• Identify AI use cases, conduct pilots, and evaluate tools; capture and share key learnings.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Evaluate solution options and translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and wireframes.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Lead user acceptance testing efforts.
• Project Management:
• Deliver projects end-to-end, from scoping to go-live.

Ideal Candidate:

• Interest in AI: Genuine interest in AI, with familiarity in generative tools and a track record of self-driven learning.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in complex environments.
• Experience: Business analysis and project management experience, preferably in finance or technology.

This role is not focused on AI research or engineering but requires a deep understanding of AI applications in business environments.
