HR Generalist
Location: West Denver / Lakewood (Near Sheridan Area)
On-site 5 days/week
Position Overview: The HR Generalist will play a critical role in handling high-volume HR operations, including onboarding, I-9 processing, and managing sensitive and complex HR situations. This role requires someone who is self-sufficient, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through. Candidates must have experience working in a large-scale company (1,000 employees), handling HR operations at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume HR processing tasks with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct weekly onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Process and verify I-9 forms in compliance with federal regulations.
- Address and resolve complex HR situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate regularly with employees, managers, and stakeholders, over-communicating to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Manage follow-ups, ensuring tasks and inquiries are completed promptly and thoroughly.
- Handle high call volume, demonstrating professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
- Support other HR administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of HR experience in a large-scale company (1,000 employees), including onboarding, I-9 processing, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably UKG.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Comfortable picking up the phone to address issues or follow up, with a focus on resolution.
- Self-sufficient, adaptable, and capable of handling high-volume tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test upon hire.
