What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping position at High Desert Hotels, LLC?
We are looking for hard-working and dedicated individuals to join our housekeeping team. Our housekeeping staff is responsible for cleaning both public and staff areas in our hotels. The successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills, be highly detail oriented, and be able to work well on a team. We are looking to hire team players, who can communicate effectively and contribute ideas towards improving hotel operations and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Carry cleaning supplies around the hotel for long periods of time.
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies above shoulder level.
- Use hands to clean floors and surfaces.
- Stand or walk for most of their shift.
- Conduct tasks that are repetitive in nature with only brief signals or directions from supervisors.
- Climb ladders and stairs to vacuum high areas.
- Climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds to clean windows and walls high off the floor.
- Move heavy furniture.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or related hospitality roles
- Strong cleaning and floor care skills
- Familiarity with janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently
- Prior custodial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of housekeeping management principles
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.75 - $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
