JOB SUMMARY: Guest Room Attendant is responsible for, thoroughly and in accordance to set standards, cleaning and servicing all types of hotel rooms.
SPECIFIC DUTIES PERFORMED: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. - Cleaning and servicing all types of hotel rooms in accordance to established policy and procedures as well as service standards.
- Cleaning and servicing minimum of 10 assigned room credits within an 8 hour work day.
- Changing linens, making beds, dusting and vacuuming.
- Scrubbing and cleaning floors, toilets, tubs, showers, sinks.
- Removing fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, glass, surfaces, cleaning windows (interior).
- Removing trash from guest rooms and following proper procedures for disposal.
- Replenishing guest supplies as well as work supplies, for self and others demonstrating teamwork.
- Filling carts, closets, and performing projects and/or deep cleaning when assigned.
- Utilizing equipment such as pan and broom, vacuum, cleaning kits, etc.
- Ensuring all equipment is used and maintained in accordance with proper procedures.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines including the use of protective equipment.
- Utilizing chemicals in a proper, safe and responsible manner in accordance to set standards.
- Maintains proper in-room and stock PARs, clean and organized work area, cart and supplies.
- Communicates problems, challenges or unusual matters of significance to supervisor.
- Accurately completes assigned daily paperwork.
- Performs assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Informs supervisors of needed support, supplies and/or repairs.
- Reports any maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Supports and complies with courtesy and guest service guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Exhibits integrity by ensuring the safekeeping of guest items and belongings.
- Meets established uniform and grooming standards.
- Exhibits passion for the hospitality and gaming experience of our guests.

LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class II gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
EXTENT OF JOB AUTHORITY: Interacts effectively with the guests and fellow team members. Provides excellent guest service at all times, responsible for cleanliness of the assigned areas.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Up to three months of related experience or training preferred. Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Expected to distinguish between clean and dirty surfaces. Expected to carry, push or pull equipment from place to place. Expected to carry work equipment throughout the duration of shift. Required to lift trash receptacles, crawl under furniture, standing, walking, and bending throughout shift. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Excellent time management, keen attention to detail, high level of organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to exemplify energy, moves with sense of urgency while being thorough about the details of the tasks. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral or diagram form.
