Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Certified Coding Specialist at High Desert PACE. The role is located in Victorville, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Certified Coding Specialist will be responsible for accurately coding healthcare records using recognized coding systems, ensuring detailed documentation for billing and record-keeping purposes. Additional responsibilities include reviewing medical terminologies, collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses, and maintaining compliance with health information management standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Coding and familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Coding Experience and an understanding of Health Information Management
- Certified with RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
