Title 1C Summer School Program Educational Assistant - (Temporary)
35 hrs/week, Mon-Friday, 15 days total
Hours: 8:00-3:00
Rate: $26.50/hour
June 30 - July 1st, July 7th - 25th , 2024
Location: Redmond
Definition
The summer school educational assistant will work with summer school teachers to provide academic instructional support to Title 1C students entering grades K-8. Emphasis will be on reading, math, and language development.
Qualifications
Must have experience in working with English Language Learners. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance is required. Applicants must have successful experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities, and/or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to equity and strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with a diverse population.
Performance Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Monitor students during academic breaks.
- Work cooperatively with all summer staff.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
- Follow specified standards, policies and procedures of the building and district.
