Title 1C Summer School Program Teacher - (Temporary)
35 hrs/week, 5 days per week, 15 days total
June 30th - July 1st, July 7th - 25th (M-F)
Location: Redmond
Definition
Summer school teachers will provide academic instructional support to Title 1C students entering grades K-8. Emphasis will be on reading, math and language development.
Qualifications
This position requires a valid Oregon teaching license issued through Teachers Standards and Practices Commission. Must have experience in working with English Language Learners. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required. Applicants must have successful experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities, and/or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to equity and strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with a diverse population.
Performance Responsibilities
- Implement daily lesson plans and activities.
- Monitor students during academic breaks.
- Work cooperatively with all summer staff.
- Follow specified standards, policies and procedures of the building and district.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
