Qualities:
The fulfillment manager position will be best suited for someone who is detail and task oriented, enjoys processes and organization, can flow well from task to task and is a truly positive leader.
Requirements:
Physical- Regularly use hands and fingers. Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs. Required to walk, kneel, stoop or crouch frequently. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Leadership- must be able to lead a team up to 10 team members with a positive demeanor. Prior management experience is a bonus though not required.
Problem solving skills
Clear and kind communication skills with team members as well as customer service.
Read, speak and write in English
Mathematics, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Basic computer skills including photoshop, ship station and excel spreadsheet a bonus though not required.
Previous managerial experience is a bonus though not required
Hours:
5 days M-F
8 hour days. Shift hours somewhat flexible around the 9-5 base. Need to be there the majority of the time the crew is.
Pay:
$55,000/year starting
Role:
Care for entire space as a team ensuring High Garden is a welcoming space for all, rooted and unrooted.
Wholesale order fulfillment
Inventory
Ordering- herbs, some basic teas, tea bags, most items needed for operations
Scheduling
Staff communications
Overseeing cleanliness and basic maintenance of building (air filters, etc)
Cleaning shift 1 task daily off of cleaning check list and assuring entire check list is completed each week/month. Every team member does 1 cleaning task daily paid hourly.
Problem solving with issues (first line of resolve- call us if needed)
Quality Control:
-Check all orders before shipment
-Assure teas and herbs are properly sealed and stored
Visionary for improvement
Payroll
Assure orders are fulfilled in appropriate seasonal time frame
Check highgardenteaorders@gmail.com where all orders inquires go and handle basic order corrections or additions. Communicate with Joel about emails without an obvious answer.
Know all Dept of Agriculture and GMP requirements. Take course (online few hours). You are the go-to person
Properly open and close facility or designate someone to do so each day.
Basic communication with UPS and USPS with pickup issues.
Filling retail orders, blending tea blends, or bagging if and when needed
Yearly reviews to assure both parties are happy
Paid time off:
10 paid days per year (agree upon in advance). Increases 1 day per year up to 15 days off (3 weeks)
5 sick days
Personal time/days within management flexibility.
Holidays:
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day
Time off is extremely restricted between the month of November and the first of January other than needed holiday travel early agreed upon.
Holiday Bonus- $1000 goes up 10% every year capping at $2000
Raises:
Yearly raise from $1000-$3000 based on 3 measurable criteria. (Order returns, order timelines, increase in sales)
