Tea Weaver: Tea Blending Specialist

High Garden Tea is looking for an individual who is ready to create remarkable tea for folks not only seeking amazing herbal tea, but also a way of life. This position is for the Tea Weaver: Tea blending specialist. You will be blending and creating our signature herbal blends intended to not only care for those drinking them, but also connect them to nature in a seamless way. The reason for this process is to offer people traditional herbalism in tea form. You will be following a recipe very closely, but it is up to you to infuse it with your own positive intention and care.

This position also requires a minimum of 1 shift per week packaging and shipping tea orders.

Someone who can closely follow a recipe while bringing your own positive intention. You will also be keeping inventory and filling online orders each week so the ability to shift from task to task is ideal. Attention to detail is very important.

:

Physical ability to regularly use hands and fingers. Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs. Required to walk, kneel, stoop or crouch frequently. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Basic computer skills including ship station is a bonus though not required.

High attention to detail

Ability to focus on a repetitive task. Podcasts, music and such are welcome to help make the time extra enjoyable.

No previous experience required

No education requirements other than reading and writing in English and basic math skills

4-5 days per week (30-40 hours flexible with volume and timeliness)

Shift times flexible around the hours of 9-5

Commission- $18/hr training for 20 shifts or if exceeding this wage in commission. Folks usually quickly pass the $18/hr mark.

$18/hr hourly for potions, cleaning, samplers, etc

Keep running inventory insights

Fill retail or wholesale orders 1-2 days per week

Bottle potions

Stocking

Potentially Make samplers and bag teas

: 5 paid days per year. Increases 1 day per year (communicate in advance) up to 10 days off.

Unpaid sick and personal days can be taken as needed and agreed upon with the manager.

: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day paid if falling on a normal work day.

Time off is extremely restricted between mid November and the first of January other than needed holiday travel early agreed upon.
