Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at High Grade Materials Company. This role is essential in overseeing the maintenance operations of our Gravel Trains and Bulkers, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently and safely. Located in Michigan, this position plays a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality concrete and aggregate products.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for Gravel Trains and Bulkers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Oversee repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet maintenance or management.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to lead.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and brake systems is beneficial.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
